Our scholarships open doors and empower young people to reach their full potential.

🎓 Tertiary scholarships

Our Tertiary scholarships support young people undertaking university, TAFE, or apprenticeship studies. Whether studying locally or moving away from home, recipients can receive help with costs such as accommodation, travel, textbooks, or course materials making it easier to focus on their studies. 

🎶 Non-Tertiary scholarships

Our Non-Tertiary scholarships help young people pursue their talents and passions in areas such as music, sport, leadership, and the arts. These scholarships support opportunities at state level or beyond, helping young people reach their potential and represent their communities on a bigger stage. 

📚 Keeping Kids at Secondary School scholarships (KK@SS)

Our KK@SS scholarships provides support for students in Years 11 and 12 to continue and complete their schooling. This scholarship can assist with the costs of school fees, uniforms, technology, and other essentials, helping young people stay engaged in their education. Applications for this scholarship are open year-round.

Who can apply

Chances scholarships are available to young people who are:

• Aged 24 years and under, and

• Living or studying in one of the following local government areas: Mildura, Swan Hill, Wentworth, Balranald, Gannawarra, Buloke, Broken Hill, and Greater Wakool Ward.

We encourage applications from students and families who are facing financial hardship or other barriers that make it difficult to pursue education or talent opportunities.

How to apply

Applications will re-open late August 2026. If you are thinking about applying we encourage you to do so. Eligibility criteria vary depending on the scholarship type.
