Corporate & Community Partners

Chances is a community within a community and each year we receive support from many local businesses and groups, who are also working hard to make life better for the people who call our region home.

We welcome new partners to help us to continue to support the young people in our community by ensuring that ‘the absence of money or support will not stand in the way of a young person achieving their potential’.

Chances acknowledge the very generous support that we receive from our partners.

Nangiloc Colignan Farms, Mildura Fruit Company and Wakefield Transport join together each year in November to hold their annual charity golf day. Chances has been a recipient of this event since it began and continues to be one of the many community organisations that benefit from the proceeds.

Monies received by Chances enables us to continue to support our recipients and has seen the establishment of the La Trobe Agribusiness Chances for Children and Mallee Family Care Scholarship. This scholarship is worth $5,000 per year for the duration of a student’s three-year agribusiness degree and offers students a guaranteed work placement within a local agribusiness organisation in the second or third year of the degree.
Mildura Fruit Company is also one of Chances for Children’s Workplace Giving organisations who enable their employees to donate a nominated amount each week from their salary to Chances.

Morellofert have established an inaugural seven-a-side soccer match to raise funds for Chances. David Morello of Morellofert had the idea to hold the event as a way of giving back to the community and identified Chances as his charity of Choice. This annual event is held between September and November each year.
