How to Contact Us
Unlocking opportunities for disadvantaged Australian children through education and learning.
The Smith Family, a national, independent children’s charity, works in partnership with Mallee Family Care and other agencies to help disadvantaged Australian children.
Supporting children’s education and learning is one of the most effective means of breaking the cycle of disadvantage and ensuring all children have the same opportunity to realize their potential.
The Learning for Life Program assists eligible families meet the costs of purchasing text books, uniforms and other costs associated with their children’s education. To be eligible for this support the family must be in receipt of a Health Care Card or Government Pension Card and committed to 90% attendance at school by their children.
For further information or to apply for assistance, contact the Mildura office on 03 5021 7480.
