How to Contact Us
The Learn Lead Achieve (LLA) program was designed in response to an identified need in local primary schools for additional, unfunded, integration aid assistance.
The program, piloted in 2008 in partnership with The Portland House Foundation, focussed on the recruitment, training and support of community volunteers who were matched as teacher assistants or integration aides with identified children in partner schools.
A prerequisite was that the volunteers would work directly with those children who were identified as having a learning or behavioural difficulty but did not qualify for other funding support.
Schools offering the LLA program are able to provide additional support for their students where they previously were not able to.
